Software or link is not what it says to be. I\'ve been downloading HDD Temperature and Temperature Pro and it is the same software. Both times I installed software on Windows Server 2003 and got error message saying that this program is not compatible with the OS. No chance to evaluate product though. :-(

very good software. easy and friendly to use and does the job right. what more you can ask?the only thing I think will be a plus is that it manage to read temps from hard drives connected to a pci sata controller and usb ports...cant find any kind of soft that has this function.

Program would not install. Code error and then something about licensing. I thought it was a 30 day trial. We are trying to find a program to monitor HD temps, in particular a number of 1TB Seagate drives using a Promise SATA 300 TX4 HD controller over the network. We have tried SpeedFan and HD Sentinel, but without success. But, at least those programs started up. We are using SpeedFan to monitor other HDs and have been successful with that program, however SpeedFan can't read the SATA drives.

my hdd's run at 55c (I hate this) but they were made to run up to 60c, program made me feel like my hdd's were going to dye on me.

Will not use it as it seems not possible to monitor external HDD (like USB drive)Thanks

This program didnt work for me, but I dont think thats the programs faultBefore I installed the drivers for my 785e chipset and SMBus I could veiw HDD, ram, CPU and motherboard temperaturesBut as soon as the drivers were installed the HDD info wasnt available.I tried this program to see if a different app would hit the hardware directly rather than taking what the driver says as gospel but to no availSo all I can comment on is the install, appearance and removal of this program. All of which seemed flawlessSorry I couldnt be of more help to anyone

Opinion it works fine

Using Windows 7 64 bit - installed fine, works fine, easy to use. Might buy it!

- HDD Temp doesn\'t work on hardware RAID drives, which is not unexpected as the RAID BIOS makes the RAID drives appear as a single drive.- HDD Temp doesn\'t store custom settings after you enter them.- HDD Temp is OK for spot checking drive temp after you setup a system but not for continuous use.

Overall works well but has some bugs I have tried this product, and will consider it for purchase, but several nagging problems keep re-occuring. The system settings change without my prompt - most noteably the set feature for warning on overheat.

temperature moniter for external drive Your program was indicating a very high temperature constant for my Networked 160gb Seagate external drive (in Wellard Inclosure) even though not even switched on, it even indicates a constant temperature for the Laptop Harddrive, for example it does not indicate varible heat range, any suggestions. HDDLife Trial I was originally attracked to trial HDDLife becuase it would monitor a LAN Drive. I have not been able to set it up to monitor the LAN Drive. Therefore I an rating the software on my current experience.RegardsVern

Temperature monitoring. Nice program. I had a recommendation to use this program. But there was one point that disturbed me: The program can't display the temperature. I don't know if this is related to my hardware, but that was a elemental reason for me to test the program.

HDDLife for HD Life I am a PC Tech and I don't and can't always can tell when a Hard Drive is too hot or about to fail this program is a very good solution to that problem.This can tell me if the Hard Drive is not getting enough air to cool it down. Also when the Hard Drive needs to move the data to a new drive before it fails. My customers and myself use on their PC's and find it very useful.Now if could just tell me when the Hard Drive is out of warranty that would be helpful too! ...

I like HDDlife. It's a very good program HDDlife in protection of my HDD.

HDDlife plugin for google desktop is no doubt a good software but i was unable to make out anything from this.... do you have any software which exactly says the status of my hard disk....

I found the program very user friendly easy to use and intuitive.I only have one wish and that is the hardware gave me more information(maybe greater range of enviroment monitors could be included)telling me my cpu is running at 0.c when i know its running hot was not what i wanted.great program keep up the good work.thank you

Alarmed 5:30PM Thanks to Sensors View and it's accurate Temperature Measuring system I quickly fixed the problem before it gets bigger. If it weren't for this very powerful tool, my system could have been burned. I was lagging throughout the game and I thought it was just that I have many applications opened. But no, It was just Mozilla Firefox and the game that I was playing. When I look down to the temperature readings at Sensors View... It was like "WHOA MY SYSTEM IS ABOUT TO BE FRIED!" Good diagnostic software Certainly saves re-boot to discover cpu and board temperatures. Also easily verifies that fans are working. Easy interface, no problems loading - very controllable. 9/10

Voltage or temperature is not seen I just want to monitor my system performance includung CPU temperature ,Voltage and Fan Speed.Very recently I downloaded "SensorsView Pro 3.1" to accomplish this but unfortunately I am not able to monitor neither the temperature of the CPU,SYS.. nor the FAN Speed.It shows 0.0 but It displays some voltages and I am not even sure about whether this voltage values are appropriate or not .Here is my system info.P4 1.5 GHZ,Windows XPGigabyte MotherBoard-GA-8LS533Intel i845GL chipsetAward BIOS manufacture -PheonixPLL -(ICS) 950211

Simple Interface useful Features SensorsView Pro is a nice bit of code with a nicely designed interface and adequate features. Some kind of benchmarking can also be introduced to increase the utility of softwares. I have a single core processor and processor temperature increase if I am viewing HD (Div-X) videos on it. I am using sesors view to monitor and alarm me about the temperature. If it reaches 100 degree celsisus, I will better give it some time to cool.Good job folks, keep it up!

Excellent Monitor for Temps/Usage I have used several programs and this is the best and easiest to use. Easy to download and install with easy to read interface. This program is excellent in aiding me in designing cooling systems for the chassis. Before I had this I didn't realize how hot the GPU was running. I am updating the fans that blow on this. I will be able to immediately see if my fix worked!
